Musical Traditions
Musical Traditions was originally published as a paper magazine covering many aspects of traditional music and traditions having some associated musical content. Its coverage was not limited to any one country or continent, and reflected the interests of its editors and contributors. It was unable to sustain a viable subscription base in this format and folded. In 1996, it was relaunched as an online, free magazine with a similar intent and focus. The online magazine publishes articles, CD and book reviews, extensive discographies, lists of live music sessions, and lists of web links. A CD-ROM version of the magazine is available. Musical Traditions also produces a line of CDs of important music which is not commercially available.

Shave the Donkey
An online newspaper for the morris community. Quite a lot of fun, really. Submissions are encouraged by anyone with news to share. At one time, the newspaper was actively seeking correspondents from the major morris organizations and from morris teams, however it appears to be on hiatus now as the most recent entry dates from 2002.
The bookshop is a combined bibliography and discography with links to the UK Amazon. It is quite a nice finding aid for some of the more mainstream morris and folk related materials. However, it too is not being updated.

Tradition
Tradition is a quarterly magazine describing the customs and traditions of the British Isles. Included are "accounts of living events such as the numerous English Mayday ceremonies, British superstitions, music, song, dance, story telling, folk medicine, crafts such as thatching and blacksmithing, costume or the wealth of myth and legend in which this nation is steeped; and ocassionally rituals and traditions which have travelled overseas and have become part of the local culture or returned to Britain in a different format". On the face of it, it looks sort of like a pop version of Folklore. Several of the issues produced so far have included articles on modern morris teams.
