Sneak Peek at the new Google Search Interface

The Download Squad reports (and I tried it out successfully in my browser) that if you set a new cookie in Firefox, it will force Google to display a new beta version of the search results page. The technical explanation involves setting a cookie names "PREF" with the value

ID=fb7740f107311e46:TM=1142683332:
LM=1142683332:S=fNSw6ljXTzvL3dWu

The easiest way to do this is to

  1. navigate over to Google and
  2. copy and paste this link into the address bar.

Note, this cookie will expire when you close your browser.
