BBC Virtual Session

I play (or attempt to play) the Irish flute so I was pleased and surprised to find that BBC Radio has something called the Virtual Session, a site that engaged me not only for the great music but for one of the most excellent implementations of Flash in a website that I've seen. In the Flash "movie", several of my more favorite professional Irish traditional musicians, including Michael McGoldrick, an excellent flute player, play standard versions of session tunes with the intent that you play along with them on your own instrument. The site cleverly uses an interactive Flash movie interface that lets you pause and reposition your place in the tune, all the while displaying the musical notation for whatever tune is playing.
