Six Ways to Evolve Reference Services

OCLC has come up with a marketing subsection of their QuestionPoint virtual reference software product called "Evolve your reference services" which shares insights and reference strategies. Of special interest is their analysis called "Six successful ways to evolve your reference services." They recommend the following:

  1. Talk to your users
  2. Create a wish list
  3. Plan for success
  4. Find the right solutions
  5. Get the word out
  6. Look in the mirror
